Two of the city’s newest breweries, The Brewery LBK and Two Docs Brewing Co., have locals lining up to taste their expertly crafted beers served up with West Texas hospitality.

After openings its doors in 2018 in the historic Pioneer building in downtown Lubbock, this brewpub has been serving up thirst-quenching beers to locals and visitors alike. The Brewery LBK offers eclectic brews, such as the Honey Blonde Ale or the Chilton Witbier, a delicious brew that pays homage to the refreshing cocktail invented in the 806. With a chef-driven mentality, the brewmaster often incorporates both local and seasonal ingredients into their taps, which they rotate frequently.

The owners of Two Docs Brewing Co. view their beer-making craft as a true art form, so it was only logical they laid down roots in downtown Lubbock’s Cultural District, amid an array of diverse art galleries and vintage shops. Featuring a wide assortment of Lubbock-inspired beers like the Buddy Hoppy IPA, Red Dirt Red Ale and the Chilton Hose, Two Docs offers something for every taste.
Utilizing local artists’ talents for the designs of their inaugural beer and keg labels and using solar panels to power the entire brewery, Two Docs is a unique find for any visitor to experience. In addition, this brewery also boasts local live music and food trucks from a variety of “Hub City” eateries like E&J Smokehouse, Big Mike’s and the Texas Monthly-honored Evie Mae’s Pit Barbeque.
